St. Louis is a great place for kids on summer vacation! If you’re local or just coming in for the weekend, there’s so much fun here you might want to make a “summer bucket list” of everything you want to do!
Summer is short! Oh yeah, you heard me right. Summer vacation may LOOK like a long stretch of endless days to while away, but once you start marking dates off the calendar you might have a hard time getting to everything!
When I look at my summer vacation calendar I have to mark off scout camp for two boys, band camp and t-ball games. Then we want to go camping, take a road trip to Kansas City Legoland, and a trip to see the grandparents in Florida. Whew!
Here’s a list of fun things to do around St. Louis. Which ones are making your bucket list?
- St. Louis Zoo
- St. Louis Science Center
- Gateway Arch (inside AND out)
- City Garden
- City Museum
- Butterfly House
- Play in a Water Fountain
- Children’s Garden at the Mo. Botanical Garden
- Six Flags
- Grant’s Farm
- Magic House or Myseum
- St. Louis Art Museum
- Skyview Drive-In
- Mini Golf/Go Carts
- Transportation Museum
- Tour Anheuser-Busch Brewery–new beer garden (for daddy)
- Bike the Katy Trail
I probably missed a couple things on this list! Let me know in the comments where your favorite place to go with kids is in St. Louis, or if I need to add anything to the list!
