It just hasn’t felt like Autumn around here with the weather being so warm! I still went shopping for fall candles to freshen up my tablescape, because, dang it, fall will be here someday. Like they say: if you don’t like the weather in St. Louis, just wait a few minutes. It will change.
I went decor shopping at Here Today, because you know I like a bargain. This post is sponsored by Here Today, but I only share things with you that I really like and stand behind.
This cute country center piece cost me $20 bucks. The mason jar set was just $9.99 and the little sign was $3.99. The candles, which are real wax flameless candles, were $1.99 each. It’s perfect to set the mood for Autumn in your house and to set out for Thanksgiving guests.
And yes, the candles are scented!
Assemble the Centerpiece
I filled the bottom of my mason jars with coffee beans from the pantry, but you could use pebbles, beans or even candy corn. Since the candles are battery powered, you don’t need to worry about them making a mess as they burn. The wax walls are thin enough to give a realistic glow when you turn the candles on. I LOVE them.
Here Today has more candles you could use in this center piece, so you can match your own home’s decor. I like the warm earthy colors of the Moroccan Spice–it just feels like fall, even if the AC is running.
They also had some bigger flameless candles, for just $9.99 each. These would look nice on a plate or a cake stand, don’t you think?
Personally, I love the mini wooden sign I picked up (Sit, Relax, Unwind) but if that’s not your speed?? They have a whole table of OTHER fun and inspirational messages! They come in different sizes and shapes, too.
I plan on keeping the mason jars and their wire holder for quite sometime. I can switch out the candles as the seasons change, and when spring comes around again, I can put flowers in them!
If you want to get your hands on these candles and other decor, just head to your local Here Today. But do it quick! Their inventory changes weekly as they find new bargains to share with you! There are EIGHT Here Today stores in the St. Louis area–locally owned and operated!
Right now they have lots of fall and Christmas decor, snugly fleece blankets and toys. If you’re thinking about getting a jump on your Christmas shopping, or just stocking up before the family drops in for Thanksgiving, Here Today has plenty of treasures to discover.
