It’s been a long time since St. Louis has had snow that stuck around for two days…this snowfall looks like it just might stick around for a while.
If you don’t have a decent hill in your neighborhood, there’s a sled riding website called sledriding.com with 52 hills listed in Missouri–more half of those in the St. Louis area. This website is today’s freebie for your kids, so get out there when you can!
The listed hills are in parks and school yards. The reviews are user generated and includes the degree of slope of the hill, if the parks department set up hay bales and where to park.
Of course the best known hill is in Forest Park: Art Hill. It’s popular not only because it’s so fun, but because huge numbers of sled riders can attack the hill at once.
