Do you ever wish you could take your wi-fi with you? You can with a hot spot, like this Verizon Mi-Fi.
(Please note: Verizon let me play with their MiFi for 20 days, and data was on the house. However, they didn’t pay me for a sponsored post…my opinions are my own!)
I got to try out a Verizon Mi-Fi and it worked beautifully, right out of the box. I just turned it on and all my devices (iphones, ipad and a laptop) found it no problem. All I needed was the password, which was pretty easy to find by scrolling through the menu.
I had a decent range and my devices were able to find it through out the house without problem. But the coolest part about the MiFi was just sticking it in my purse and letting the kids use their wi-fi only iPads in the car! I can image this being a HUGE help on long car trips! I’m not a techie, but I can safetly say that the Verizon 4G LTE network was every bit as strong a connection as my home internet.
The Verizon Jetpack can host up to 10 devices at once and has a 15 hour battery life. All you have to do is remember to plug it in at the end of the day for a re-charge!
Is it expensive? Nope. The model I checked out is available for 99cents with your Verizon plan. I’m not a sales rep, but skimming through the Verizon website, it looks like you can add a dedicated hot spot to your “Everything” plan for just $20 a month. You can also get stand alone pre-paid packages for them. Ask your friendly Verizon guy for more info, or head over to Verizon and get more details!
