Hop downtown to celebrate spring at the grand re-opening of our beloved Arch Grounds! CityArchRiver is hosting a big party: “Spring Into Your Park,” a family-friendly, community celebration where you can explore the new park! There will be live music, Laclede’s Landing food and drink vendors, lawn games, kids activities, the Discovery Map Challenge – a scavenger hunt that will take you on an exploration of the new park – and much more.

Party at the Gateway Arch
CityArchRiver has been hard at work on the renovation of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (that’s the official name for the Arch’s park)! The park is ready for play so they’re having a big party on Saturday, April 8.
Most of the park is now open– but the Arch tram is still closed until later in April.
The party will kick off at 11 am and goes to 4pm. Dignitaries and CityArchRiver project leaders will speak at 12:30 p.m. to officially open the newly renovated grounds at the Gateway Arch.
This event will leads up to the GO! St. Louis Marathon the on April 9, which will start and finish on the riverfront for the first time in its history. More than 20,000 people are expected to watch or run in the marathon!
Scavenger Hunt at the Arch
Your kid will love Saturday’s Discovery Map Challenge – a scavenger hunt tour of the park highlighting new park features and additions. Participants will receive special memorabilia as prizes. Discovery Map Challenge destinations include: the North Gateway elevated walkway, Lewis and Clark Explorers’ Garden, Riverwalk Pathways on the east slopes of the park, and more.
