Grant’s Farm is hosting two fun events to help celebrate the end of summer. The final Food Truck Friday of the season will be Aug. 26 and on Aug. 30 they will have their first PokémonGO Night at Grant’s Farm!
Food Truck Friday
Mitch and I had a ball at an earlier Food Truck Friday! If you go, be sure to arrive early and avoid some of the lines. This is a very popular event and the food is FANTASTIC. The Farm will close on Friday at 3:30 (the normal closing time) and reopen for Food Truck Friday at 5:45pm. Entry is still just $12 per car, or $5 per walk up person. The event runs until 10pm.
On Aug. 26 they will have :
And a Mystery Truck
Visitors will still get to ride through the deer park and feed the goats, ride the carousel and the camels. There will be live music, but no animal shows. And beer is available for purchase to go with your Food Truck yummies.
PokemonGo at Grant’s Farm
You might have noticed that Grant’s Farm has a number of PokemonGo stops and gyms…but several are kinda hard to get to because they’re in the middle of the deer park! Here’s your chance to Catch Them All! On Aug. 30 the farm will open for a special evening of PokemonGo. The tram will run it’s route backwards–heading up the hill to the Bauernhof first. After you hunt for Pokemon, and maybe grab a bite to eat at the Brat House or Tier Garten Treats, you can pick up the tram at the Tier Garten for a trip through the deer park. The tram will stop at each gym and allow players to battle. YOU CAN NOT GET OFF THE TRAM.
The event runs from 5pm to 9pm, and the gates close at 8pm.
The good news is this event is TOTALLY FREE. They won’t be charging for parking. However, it doesn’t look like they’ll have attendants at the goat pen or camels. (Food and drink is available for purchase.) But that’s ok. We’re just here for the Pokemon tonight! Grant’s Farm will drop lures at all 20 of their Pokestops all night long. We’re sure to find something fun so grab your phone’s power pack and come on down for some free fun.
