Purina Farms spooks it up for the tots with their annual Haunted Hayloft going on October 17-19 and October 24-26. The event is for younger kids and is not very scary. There will be trick or treating, magic shows, puppet shows, face painting, story telling and of course, a performance by the Purina Pro Plan dogs.
Admission is free, but there is a $5 charge for parking during the event. You’ll also need to RSVP at 314-982-3232.
This is a rare evening event for Purina Farms! The Haunted Hayloft entrance times are from 4:30pm to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, then 2:30 to 5:30pm on Sunday. Gates close 2 hours after the last admission (so you can come at 7 and play to 9pm.) It’s not often that Purina Farms is open to the public after school hours, so this is a great time to come out for parents who can’t get away during a weekday!
Have the kids come in costume! There is a contest during the dog performance and the winner gets a $25 gift card to the Farm’s gift shop! There are two age brackets: kids 5 and under and kids 6 to 12.
And remember, if you bring dog or cat supplies to donate for local animal shelters, you’ll get a 20% off coupon to one item at the gift shop.
