Lone Elk Park is one of my favorite hidden gems of St. Louis County. It’s out in the Valley Park area, at the intersection of Hwy 44 and Hwy 141. The park is home to a herd of elk and a herd of bison, plus whatever wild life passes through. Sometimes you’ll spot turkey and deer here, too!
I’ve talked about this park before, because it’s super fun to drive through with your kids. But last week I rigged up my iphone so I could bring you along!
